Luanda — "Casa das Ideias" publishing company will place this Wednesday at the meeting hall of Lusíada University, here, the book entitled "Biography of a demobilised soldier and other tales" of the Angolan writer, Manuel Ribeiro.
According to the manager of the publishing firm, Gilberto Luther, the book by Manuel Ribeiro, in a style of tales with humour, portrays the history of a demobilised soldier of the extinct FAPLA (ex-Angolan army).
The book, prefaced by the writer and University lecturer Fátima Fernandes, will be jointly launched by Casa das Ideias and the Law Faculty of Lusíada University.
An initial 1,000 copies of the 104-paged book are being sold for 1,000 Angolan Kwanzas (AKZ).
This is the fourth book placed in the market by Casa das Ideias publishing company, in the less than four months.
Manuel Garcia Ribeiro was born in Luanda, and is a superior officer with the Angolan Armed Forces and law undergraduate at Lusíada University of Angola.
