Arusha — Reverend Jesse Jackson, a human rights black American activist on June 3 led a fund raising event for a Simanjiro pastoralists school in Manyara region and succeeded to collect US Dollars 50,000 (equivalent of Tsh.650m/-) on the spot.
The contributions were made by black Americans who attended the Leon Sullivan Summit at a Presidential banquet held the Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge and hosted by President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.
