Asmara — The newly appointed Eritrean Ambassador to Egypt, Mr. Fassil Gebreslasie, today presented his credentials to President Mohammed Hosni Mubarek.

During the presentation ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed President Isaias Afwerki's greetings to President Mubarek and the Egyptian people. Mr. Fassil asserted that he would work diligently to further strengthen relations between the two countries.

The Egyptian leader on his part wished President Isaias good health as well as peace and prosperity to the Eritrean people. He also wished the Ambassador success in the course of his tour of duty.
