Namibia: Festival Against Drugs and Alcohol

Windhoek — The 3rd year social work students of the University of Namibia in conjunction with Bank Windhoek, Coalition on Responsible Drinking, Namibia Breweries, and the Drug Awareness Group are organizing a TADA choir festival that will take place this Saturday.

TADA (Teenagers against Drugs and Alcohol) focuses on drug and alcohol abuse prevention through education in different secondary schools in different regions. Music will for the first time be included in the programme.

The event will be held under the theme "Singing against Drug and Alcohol Abuse" and will take place on 21st June, 2008 at the UN Plaza Amphitheater, Katutura from 09h00 to 13h00.

The festival is to commemorate the International Day against Drug Trafficking and Abuse on the 26th June 2008.
