Rwanda: No Kigali Team in Schools' Netball Semis

Kigali — The inaugural schools' netball competitions have entered the semifinal stage but without a single school from Kigali.

Kigali's sole representative, Fawe Girls School was eliminated at the quarterfinal round 37-11 by St. Joseph Muhanga.

In the other quarterfinal games, Christ Roi de Nyanza defeated G. S Gihundwe 20-5 in Huye; Lycee Zaza lost 11-19 to St. Vincent Musanze in Gasabo while St. Alloys Rwamagana playing at home beat G.S Gahini 16-13.

The semifinal matches that will involve only schools from the Provinces, are scheduled for the weekend of June 28-29 in Huye district of the Southern Province.

According to president of F.R.S.S, the local schools' sports federation Innocent Gatete, the semifinal event will be sponsored by the ministry of Education.
