Local coaches are undergoing two international levels B and C licenses courses, which according to Ferwafa officials is meant to lift the coaching standards in Rwanda.
Michael Weiss, the Ferwafa technical director told Times Sport on Wednesday that 150 coaches are undergoing the courses both in Kigali and several other parts of the country.
"These courses are given in the framework of developing and improving the level of Rwanda football trainers," Weiss said.
According to the Germany-born administrator, four courses of level C license are being organized in Butare (Southern Province), Rwamagana (Eastern Province), Musanze and Gisenyi (Northern Province) and while the two of B license are being held in Kigali at Ferwafa headquarters. The courses which started early this month will climax on July 4 in all Provinces.
The B and C licenses courses are conducted by two Germany experts Andreas Spier and Aloys Stroh with experts Aloys Kanamugire, Sosteine Habimana and Vincent Mashami giving the technical advice to the pair in regards to the provincial areas.
Participants, who will excel in the both the theory and practical lessons offered in these courses will travel to Germany for further training.
These courses are supported by the Germany's football governing body, DFB as part of the existing co-operation with their Rwandan counterparts, Ferwafa.
The DFB-Ferwafa co-operation has not only targeted coaches but has improved football standards in the country.
It has given technical support to both the national team and youth football team ahead of crucial African championships.

As part of the cooperation, the women football team benefited from a training stint held in Germany in March while the U-20 is set to benefit from a similar program late this year in preparation for next year African youth championship due in Kigali.
