An 80-year old man, Mr. Jacob Nkworji, has been kidnapped at Enugu-Ukwu in Anambra, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. Nkworji, who hails from Umuatulu in Enugu-Ukwu, was kidnapped on his way from a "Father's Day" service on Sunday and had not been seen since.

However, NAN investigation indicated that the police had little lead to work on.

Mr. Chris Ezike, Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the State C.I.D., told NAN that information on the kidnappers was still scanty and that the Police needed time.

NAN, however, gathered that the kidnappers had contacted one of his daughters and demanded N120 million as ransom. It was also gathered that the huge ransom might be targeted at a wealthy relation of Nkworji.
