South-south - South-east Development Group (SSSEDG) has called on Chairman, Imo State PDP, Chief Marcellemis Nlemigbo, to guard his utterances over the just concluded by-election in the zone.

Nlemigbo was accused of unguarded utterances against Senator Izunaso, representing Imo West (Orlu).

Speaking through its national leader, Prince Elias Odoemena, in Orlu, the group said it is most unfortunate that Nlemigbo still parades himself as Imo PDP Chairman after his tenure had expired.

He said Nlemigbo's utterances were capable of sowing a seed of disunity in Orlu PDP, and a calculated attempt to cause trouble in the party .

The group said, "if there is anybody in Imo PDP that should be charged for anti-party activities, that person should be Nlemigbo who didn't support the candidature of Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, PDP governorship candidate."

The group warned Nlemigbo to stop parading himself as chairman of Imo PDP and allow the people of Orlu to chose a chairman.
