Luanda — The Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, received Friday here the deputy chairperson of North China Industries Company (NORINGO), Zhi Yulin, who showed interested in carrying out "huge investment" in the African country.
Speaking to press, at the end of the meeting, Zhi Yulin said that he informed president dos Santos about his intention to invest in Angola, above all, in the sectors of infrastructures, such as railways, roads, communication, as well as in the production of hydraulic and thermal energy.
He said that his company is not yet involved in any projects in the country, adding that it is only holding exploratory contacts. However, he stressed that the firm has financial conditions to contribute to the reconstruction and economic development of Angola.
The deputy chairperson of NORINGO underlined that the funds have not been defined yet, as they will be made available in accordance with the projects approved by the two sides.
He considered as an honour to be received by the Angolan head of State, which encourages him to work with the government towards the development of the Southern African nation.
The North China Industries Company was founded 28 years ago and it is made up of 100 firms, that operate in thirty countries.
