Kampala — A campaign on hand washing has been launched by the Uganda water and Sanitation Network to improve sanitation in the country
The habit of not washing hands is the cause of many preventable diseases including Diarrhea.
The officer in charge of the project Alex Mbagutta says most households especially in upcountry districts are still ignorant about sanitation.
Mbagutta says the campaign has been started in the districts of Lira, Mbale, kiboga and kabale and it will soon spread to other parts of the county.
