The Uganda Peoples Defense Forces football team will clash with Kenya on the opening day of the East African Military Culture and Sports events. Coach Sam Ssimbwa is desperate for the army side to start on a winning note.
"This time we want a clear sweep. We don't want to rely on the last game to secure qualification," said Ssimbwa.
The Games will run from today to July 3. Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania will compete in the disciplines of football, netball, boxing, handball and athletics.
