Nairobi — The Government on Monday unveiled five key reform measures aimed at addressing food insecurity in the country.
Top among them were plans to increase the acreage under food production from 250,000 to one million hectares in the next five years, Agriculture minister William Ruto said. He said this will be achieved through putting parts of the country's arid and semi-arid areas under irrigation.
