Haddy Joof has been battling a breast disorder for 3 years and needs urgent help to undergo further treatment in Dakar, Senegal..
Haddy was first presented at the surgical Out-patient Unit at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital with a slowly growing right breast lump with no nipple discharge.
On examination, Haddy was found to have a mobile lump in the inner quadrant of the right breast and a Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNAB) also showed a small group of atypical cells suspicious of malignancy as a result of which she was consequently admitted of the RVTH were a lumpectomy was carried out with a wide margin on her.
The results then revealed an infiltrating ductal carcinoma.
