Somalia: Aid Workers Kidnapped in Southwestern Somali District, Governor Wounded

Mogadishu — Reports from Hudur town of Bakol region say that two aid workers work for WFP (World Food programme) have been kidnapped by armed groups following Alshabab armed fighters have seized the neighborhood Saturday morning residents said.

Initial reports say that the foreigners were Danish.

Else where the Islamic fighters have taken over three armed vehicle owned by the government troops of the district and they also injured the governor of the district.

The governor has escaped with his injuriues.
