Lagos — Members of the Nigerian music community were again thrown into anguish last week- wailing, weeping and wondering what's responsible for the incessant calamities- after it was discovered on Saturday June 21 that Chief Sunday Akanite, the popular highlife musician called Oliver De Coque had been confirmed dead.
Oliver, whose greatest hits include 'mbiri ka mbiri' (live and let's live), 'funny identitiy' and 'people's club' reportedly died of heart attack at a Lagos hospital. He was 59 years old.
