The Northern Youths Peace Forum (NYPF) has called on honourable members of Adamawa State House of Assembly to reconsider their stand on the notice of impeachment served on Governor Murtala Nyako.
This plea was contained in a press release signed by the National Coordinator and the Secretary of the forum, Zanna Mustapha and Nasiru Kabomo respectively.
"We wish to commend both the House and the Executive for the maturity exhibited so far in their willingness to listen to the party and the presidency in their efforts to resolve the matter", the forum said.
The Forum also noted that it is working towards reconciling General Muhammad Buhari and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar with President Yar'adua for the progress of the country.
"The Forum is calling on both leaders to put heads together and withdraw their cases and support President Yar'adua in the interest of the North and the country. This is to give democracy a chance and to give Mr. President the chance to solve some immediate problems of the economy as contained in his seven-point agenda", the release read.
