Mmegi soccer side, Kakapa, will feature in a four-team tournament to be played at Syntax Grounds in Maruapula tomorrow. Other teams in the one-day tournament are Hungry Leopards, Golden Stars and Syntax.
In the opening game, Kakapa will take on Golden Stars at 9am. Syntax will lock horns with neighbours Hungry Leopards at 11 am and the winners will meet in the final at 3pm.
Over a week ago, Kakapa beat Syntax 6-5 after penalty shoot-outs. Both sides played to a 1-1 draw in regulation time and penalties had to be applied to decide which side goes home with the prize money.
Philly Sesike forced the shootout when he scored the crucial equaliser for Kakapa in the last minute. Goalkeeper Tshepo Molwane was the hero of the day when he won the match for Kakapa by stopping two penalties.
After the disappointing performance during the Media Cup last month, Kakapa have been in a scintillating form. Kakapa will use tomorrow's tournament to prepare for games in Mafikeng and Swaziland later in the year.
