Angola: Football - 1º De Agosto Win, Still Second

Luanda — 1º de Agosto maintains the second position of the national first division soccer tournament, Girabola 2008, after this Monday's away 2-0 over Petro do Huambo, for the closing encounter of the 13th round (last of first stage).

The goals were scored by Zé Augusto and Levis, on the 64th and 79th minutes, respectively, in an encounter refereed by Venâncio de Matos, of Benguela Province.

With this victory, 1º de Agosto, coached by the Portuguese Vitor Manuel, now has 28 points, less four than Petro de Luanda, in the first position.

Previously set for Sunday, the match was postponed due to bee invasion at Kuricutelas stadium, in Huambo city.
