The national youth soccer coach, Marcos Tinoco, yesterday unveiled a line-up of 16 players who form a Copa Coca-Cola dream team that is set to fly to Brazil on Sunday for training.

The players start training today ahead of the trip.

He named the players as goalkeepers: Kabali Faraji (Kigoma), Mohamed Hussein (Mwanza) and Ahmed Mohamed of Ilala.

Others are Sadik Yawasa, Doto Greyson (Ruvuma), Zahoro Jailani (Morogoro) and Adil Adam (Kigoma), Himid Mao (Temeke), Kenny Ally (Mbeya), Faraj Hussein (Mwanza), Moka Shaaan, Lambele Jerome (Kigoma), Joseph Mahundi (Ruvuma), Hemed Suleiman (Kigoma) and Ilala's Karim Sule.

Official to accompany the team are Tinoco who will be assisted by Sylvester Mash and two other Coca-Cola officials.

Tinoco said the named players are supposed to attend the team's training sessions at Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) ground from today.

He said while camping in Brazil, the Tanzanian team will play teams from Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Kenya, Uganda and Mozambique, just to mention few.

"The objective of the training is to give the players exposure and to training to acquire skills and expertise that would develop their soccer career in future," said tournament coordinator George Rwehumbiza.

Rwehumbiza said Coca Cola firm has been highly impressed with the way the youth championship was conducted to meet the stated objectives.
