Participants to the workshop intended to improve the capacities and co-ordination activities to fight against HIV/Aids, which is taking place in Luena since Tuesday, are debating on Wednesday the instruments to get information and the use of indicators, ANGOP has learnt.

The functioning of the provincial committee of fight against aids and endemic diseases, the mechanism of co-ordinating with social partners, monitoring and assessing the interventions in this field are some other themes also under debate.

On the first day, participants made a deep analysis of the situation in the eastern Moxico Province, risk factors and prevention against HIV/Aids, among others.

In Moxico Province, from 2006 up to the present, at least 21 people died of HIV/Aids and 136 other are getting anti-retroviral treatment.
