Kigali — Emmanuel Ruterana will play his tenth tournament of the season this Saturday when he competes in the Lugazi Open.

The professional golfer who has been struggling for form after changing his swing played some of his best golf this year last Saturday during the MTN Monthly mug at Kampala's Kitante golf club.

After ending day one at the bottom of the leader board following a disastrous performance of eight-over at the par-72 course, the 24-year-old staged a remarkable comeback to finish fourth after playing two-under on day-two.

"It's a good feeling to play some nice shots after a bad spell. I think I'm starting to get my swing right and hopefully I will put up an even better show this weekend.

Ruterana, who will make his first outing at the nine-hole Lugazi course this Saturday left for Uganda this morning.
