Luanda — The Angolan Cycling Federation (FACI) will this Thursday here present at a press conference the XIX edition of the National Cycling Championship to be held from July 04 to 06 in the provinces of Luanda and Bengo.
The competition, to be disputed under the motto "cycling in competition, eying the future", will count on the participation of teams from the cities of Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda, Huíla, Namibe, Kwanza Sul, Lunda Norte, Uíge and Bengo.
The tournament will be played in three stages, with the first being of 20 Kilometres of individual racing against the clock, starting at "km 20" in Viana district and ending at "km 30" in the same municipality.
The second long distance race will proceed until the northern Bengo province, taking the following course Viana/Catete/Calomboloca/Catete/Viana, totalling 120 kms.
The competition will end on Sunday with the holding of a 30 km closed circuit, passing thoughLuanda's Deolinda Rodrigues Avenue, Independence square and the roundabout of the Road Traffic Unit.
