Four people died and 18 were injured in consequence of road accidents that happened in the past seven days, in central Huambo province, ANGOP learnt from the provincial command of the National Police.

In the weekly balance, the source revealed that these cases occurred from June 20 to 30, in the districts of Caála and Katchiungo.

The accidents included four collisions between vehicles, 10 collisions between motor vehicles and motorcycles, one collision against a fixed object, one off-tracking and nine run over.

Over speeding, lack of precaution and disobeying traffic regulations were the main causes of the accidents.
