In a seminar he conducted to Eritrean nationals residing in Jeddah and its environs, Mr. Yemane Gebreab, Head of Political Affairs at the PFDJ, said that the Eritrean people would as ever overcome all challenges and acts of hostility thanks to their steadfastness, firm unity and spirit of resistance.

Noting that the Eritrean-Ethiopian border demarcation issue has reached legal and technical conclusion, he pointed out that legal and diplomatic endeavors are underway to bring about the withdrawal of Ethiopian invading forces from sovereign Eritrea territories.

Mr. Yemane went on to assert that the futile attempts made on the part of Djibouti through fabricating non-existing crisis aimed at isolating Eritrea has been foiled. He also reiterated that the Eritrean government continues to exert vigorous efforts to promote regional peace and stability.

Stating that the economic hiccups currently encountered is an outcome of external hostilities, the PFDJ official explained that encouraging achievements are being registered to cope with the challenge and reinforce the national economy through the Government's efforts to implement development programs and enhance relations of partnership and investment.

He further commended the contribution of Eritrean nationals residing in Saudi Arabia to strengthen the national development drive and ensure the safeguarding of the nation's sovereignty, as well as supporting the families of martyrs.
