Forto

A 15-km long road along the Forto-Agordat route which was difficult for transportation has now been repaired through the coordinated efforts of members of the 21st National Service Program and local inhabitants.

Over 1,000 inhabitants of Forto-Sawa sub-zone took active participation in the undertaking which also includes the construction of embankments and terraces around agricultural sites in Senkat-Kinab.

Moreover, different development activities focusing on soil and water conservation are being stepped up in the sub-zone through popular campaign, according to reports.
