Ondjiva — A total of 45 field officials of the Epidemics Total Control (TCE) programme from the provinces of Cunene and Bengo will attend on 04-06 July in Changalane City, Mozambique, in a forum on sharing experiences of action in HIV/Aids prevention, in southern African countries, India and China.
According to a press note released this Thursday, the event is being promoted by the NGOs Federation Humana People to People and ADPP in Mozambique.
The meeting counts on the participation of o1,700 field officials from Angola, Namibia, South Africa , Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, India and China.
The document states that the holding of this forum aims at sharing ideas for actions on Aids prevention and highlights that TCE Angola currently counts on 250 field officials, who are carrying out their work in the provinces of Bengo and Cunene, in door to door sensitisation about changing behaviour towards Aids prevention.
The programme implemented by ADPP is funded by the National Institute for Fight against Aids (INLS), UNICEF, StatoilHydro, the state-owned oil company Sonangol and its partners in block 15(Esso Angola).
The same programme involves 500,000 people, from which 100,000 are from the northern Bengo Province, and 400,000 from the southern Cunene Province.
