Angola: Ambassador Praises Ties With Spain

Madrid — The political, economic and financial relations between Spain and Angola are traditionally "very good" with perspective of strengthening them even further, considered this Thursday in Madrid, ambassador Armando da Cruz Neto.

In an interview to ANGOP, the ambassador said that the Angolan community in Spain is estimated at 2,500 citizens, among them workers and students mostly living in the cities of Madrid (1,000) and Barcelona (500).

There are 45 to 50 Angolan students in the European country.

He added that the embassy through the consulate controls Angolan citizens that reside in Spain and have permanent contacts with them.
