Masvingo Bureau — ZIMBABWE'S biggest sugar cane producer, Triangle Sugar Corporation, has resumed ethanol production at its plant in the Lowveld, in a milestone development that is expected to ease serious fuel woes that have been afflicting the country over the past decade.
The ethanol is blended with petrol and the biofuel allows Zimbabwe to "grow" up to 15 percent of its own petrol.
