The Speaker of the Seychelles Republic Parliament, Patrick Herminie, is planning to visit Angola soon, in the framework of the reinforcement of the friendship and co-operation relations between the two parliaments.

The official expressed this desire during an audience he granted to the Angolan ambassador to this country, Ambrósio Lukoki, who presented his credentials on Tuesday to the Seychelles President, James Alix Michel.

The Seychelles politician said he has been following up with great admiration the democratic exercise in Angola, in the form of debates of ideas and respect for difference of opinion and political option.

On the occasion, the Angolan diplomat briefed the authorities on the steps being taken towards the holding of next September 05 legislative elections, as well as the government initiatives to put an end to poverty, provoked by the many years of civil war.
