Liberia: Man, 22, Charged for Raping Eight-Yr-Old Child

A twenty-two-year-old man identified as Prince Borkay of Camp Johnson Road has allegedly raped an eight-year old child.

A police charge sheet alleged that the victim was abused when she was sent by her mother to buy bread at the defendant's shop in the same vicinity last Sunday.

She told the police during preliminary investigation that upon arrival of the girl at the shop, defendant Borkay called her into a room attached to the shop.

"He laid me on the mattress, took off his clothes and began to forcibly penetrate my private parts," the little girl told police preliminary investigation.

Police said the defendant was arrested and charged with rape following preliminary investigation and medical report from the MSF/Benson Hospital.

It'a shame to hear what our African men, most especially Liberian are doing to these inocent children. I once boast of my country and the safty of it when it comes to children, but I now bowed my head in shame, because they are doing exactly what the American men are doing to children in America.
