Nacfa

The residents of Nacfa town have now access to 24-hour mobile phone service. Lauding the Government's efforts to promote balanced social services in remote areas through disbursing substantial expenditure, the residents reaffirmed their commitment to enhance their contribution in the implementation of development programs in the area.

Reports indicated that previously mobile phone service in the town was limited to only 8 hours and that reliable service is now being provided. So far, a building complex for the installation of telephone cables has also been constructed, as well as a tower and 24-hour solar energy generating device have been installed. In addition, the construction of ERI-TEL office in the town is nearing finalization, report added.

Nacfa town which was completely destroyed by enemy forces in the days of the armed struggle is now being re-built, including major reconstruction programs jointly implemented by the Government and the people.
