The Inxusa Festival makes a welcome return this year, a decade after it was shelved following concerns it had lost direction.
The festival, brainchild of veteran playwright and Amakhosi Cultural Centre founder, Cont Mhlanga, was last staged in 1998. Organisers then decided to launch a restructuring and rebranding exercise that sought to draw lessons from other successful arts festivals in the country.
