The 5-day Eritrea Festival in Jeddah and its environs concluded yesterday with patriotic zeal in the presence of the Eritrean Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mohamed Omar Mahmoud.

Different programs, including cultural shows, sports competition, entertainment activities, seminars and arts exhibition featured in the course of the Festival in which thousands of Eritrean nationals took part.

In a seminar he conducted to Festival participants, the Head of Political Affairs at the PFDJ, Mr. Yemane Gebreab, said that the Eritrean people would as ever overcome all challenges and acts of hostility thanks to their steadfastness, firm unity and spirit of resistance.

He also commended the contribution of Eritrean nationals residing in Saudi Arabia to strengthen the national development drive and ensure the safeguarding of the nation's sovereignty, as well as supporting the families of martyrs. The PFDJ official further called on Eritrean youths living in that country to avail themselves of the available educational opportunities, and thereby make due contribution in backing up development programs in the Homeland.
