Angolan popular musician, Bangão, was the main focus of the monthly "Musongue da Tradição" music show at Kilamba recreational centre, with the best hits of his repertoire.

In a programme that involved a prominent team of Angolan musicians like Lulas da Paixão, Maya Cool, Dom Caetano and Vate Costa, Bangão excelled his competitors, opening his performance with "Kibuikila", a hit that dragged into the dancing track hundreds of dancers who stuck to the ground until the singer dropped out.

Those who thought that Maya Cool, Lulas da Paixão, Dom Caetano and Vate Costa - the two last invited in the last minute - would stage a fierce fight, on account of their popularity, proved to be fully wrong, as Bangão set the tune with a much applauded entry.

"Musongué da Tradição" music programme, an initiative by Kilamba Centre, started early in February 2006, ith "Jovens do Prenda" band and popular singers Zecax, Dom Caetano and Proletário.
