The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties, CNPP, has expressed anxiety over what it called the many corrupt elements in Yar'Adua's administration.
Going back to the early days of the administration, the aegis of political parties lamented that it has always been one scandal or the other.
In a statement signed by its national chairman, Dr. Olapade Agoro, the body pointed out that early in the life of this administration when the scam of the former Speaker of House of Representatives, Mrs. Patricia Olubunmi Etteh, surfaced on the national scene, nobody realised then that the 'grand mother of corruption' was lurking in the corner.
"The sad story of a former non-partisan politician on her first time at the corridors of power, Professor Adenike Grange, the former Minister of Health who was caught pants down en-messed in only N300 million booty-sharing met every one surprisingly napping. Iyabo Obasanjo Bello's part in sharing of the N300 million booty was like a toddler in the race of thieving adults".
The body of political parties expressed dismay over what it alleged as the 'Mother of treasury looting involving Mrs. Dieziani Allison-Madueke the Minister for Transportation.
"Dieziani not only beat them all to it, withdrawing terribly a whooping sum of N30.9 billion all within five days, a Nigerian Bank opened specially for the pretty female Minister on boxing day 26 December 2007 to do part of the withdrawals. Where on earth did she keep the heavy withdrawal and to whom was the money paid? Assuming that Dieziani paid the money to a contractor on that boxing day, where would the contractor have lodged that huge sum of money?"
"It could be rightly deduced that Yar'Adua and his administration are as bad as those corrupt ones before it.
"Corruption in a democracy is not only evil, but connotes the worst of human rights abuses, an infamy enemy to human progress. Whilst democracy is the best form of government, any element of corruption in it, renders its usefulness a nullity. "
The full weight of democracy and its usefulness can only be realized in an environment totally devoid of corrupt elements.
It cannot be disputed that when the highest people of Yar'Adua's government brazenly embezzle or steal from the treasury, it is nothing than kleptocracy. In the real sense , the political system the nation in the past nine years is nothing near democracy but steal o-crazy".

This case confirms the fact that beauty is a priceless thing. The real estate between the legs for example is beyond any monetary value. But, I did not know that it can even give the bearer access to very powerful public offices such as Minister of Transport. As an ex-pilot in Nigeria, I know some of the nitty-gritty of that industry. It is a position that requires someone with a very good technical background. Unless this model had the unusual talents of an outstanding engineer in addition to her very tempting looks, I am surprised as to how she got that position. She is either very influential( in many ways) or she may have been generous indeed with her legs. Guess what? She is now a thief. Arrest her without warrant and give at least of the proceeds to the Oil States.
