Kampala — Prof. Francis Omaswa is scheduled to address the British Parliament next Wednesday.
The former director general of health services will advise the All-Party Parliamentary Malaria Group on the best ways to tackle malaria in rural Africa. He will discuss opportunities and challenges of delivering health services in developing countries.
In an interview with Saturday Vision, Omaswa said his presentation would help the British government plan donor-funded malaria programmes for Africa.
"They asked me to explain how African health systems work and the methods of reaching the communities with vaccines, bed nets and other control measures."
He will also speak about health sector reforms.
