Delegations from the Foreign Affairs Ministries of Angola and Chile will meet this Monday, in the Chilean capital city, to review the existing bilateral co-operation.

The talks, which are part of the Angolan Foreign minister's official visit to this country, will culminate with the signing of three agreements on the creation of a joint commission, the bilateral trade and the general co-operation accord.

The Angolan Foreign minister, João Bernardo de Miranda, who is since Sunday in this country, is on an official tour to four South American nations, which has already taken him to Uruguay.

The next country the Angolan top official will visit is Paraguay, where he is to sign, on 17 July, a general co-operation accord and a memorandum of understanding on consultations between the two countries' Foreign Affairs Ministries.

The last and fourth state to be visited by the diplomat is Brazil, where his delegation will discuss with the local authorities ways to strengthen the south-south relations, having into account the complementariness of both countries' economies.

The Angolan Foreign minister will analyse with his Brazilian counterpart, Celson Amorim, matters relating to the South Atlantic Peace and Co-operation Zone and the possibility to widen it with the inclusion of other South American country, as well as the implementation of the Luanda Action Programme.
