Uganda: Community Policing Drive On

Kampala — THE Police in northern Uganda have started a door-to-door community policing exercise. The regional Police commander, Kutureebe Arinaitwe, last week urged residents of Kasubi Small Gate and Kasubi Goan's Quarters in Gulu municipality to report to him officers who demand bribes to render services.

"Do not fear to come to the Police station and report corrupt Police officers. Do not give them money. "When they ask for it, please call me," he said.
