Like many of successful world musicians, both Man Dojo and Domo Kaya started their music in a Church in Arusha where the two were born.
As time went on, the two started to alter their church music to secular music and then later formed a group together. The two knew that it was hard to become famous in Arusha and they decided to move to Dar es Salaam in 2003.
They worked hard to promote their music career and to find success and popularity and they achieved all this when their debut album Nikube was produced at Bongo Records and FM Studios. The album did well in East Africa and Africa in general. Their style combines rap and popular local rhythms. They have toured most of East African countries and their dream is to make it to the international level. The two vow to wow East Africa with new songs.
