Kigali — Eight local level B and C coaches have started a two-week trainers' training course in Germany courtesy of the existing cooperation between Ferwafa and their Germany counterparts, DFB.

The initial team that comprised six male and one female coaches selected by the local football governing body, Ferwafa left Kigali on Sunday.

The seven included; Ramadthan Kiiza, Patien Nyangi, Joseph Kamugisha, Gustave Bahire (fitness coaches course), Moussa Hakizimana (Physio course), Jean Claude Maniraguha (goalkeepers' coaching course) and Grace Nyinawumuntu (women football coaching course).

The eighth member, Seraphine Umunyana was left behind due to delays in processing her passport but she is expected to make the trip this weekend.

The two female coaches will spend up to four months in Germany while their male counterparts are expected back in the country on August 3 after the completion of their courses.
