Johnson Bagoole against showed why he is URA captain by guiding the tax-men to the Kagame Cup quarterfinals with a super goal yesterday.

Bagoole opened the scoring for the Uganda representatives in the 25th minute when he got a pass from DanWagaluka, turned one Awassa defender and sent a low shot that hit the two posts before resting in the net.

Bagoole also scored the first goal when they hammered Rayon Sport 4-1 on Sunday.

The Ethiopians however enjoyed a lions share of posession, but were short of ideas whenever they reached the last third of the soccer field.

They made URA pay later in the game for overconfidence with a goal from a free kick. Ftisum Tsegazab headed in an 85th minute freekick awarded after Bagoole pushed Addis Begash near the forbidden area.

URA have four points, Awassa one and Rayon zero. Awassa play Rayon on Saturday.
