Nigeria: Abia to Probe Death of 20

Umuahia — ABIA State Governemnt yesterday said that it would carry out a thorough invstigation into the mystery surrounding the death of about 20 people in Umuolihie, Omoba in Isiala Ngwa Council area. The people, believed to be members of Deeper Life Church died in circumstances yet to be explained last weekend.

They were said to have gone for a deliverance prayer in a new house built by one their members, Mr. Martin Iheukwumere, said to be a zonal pastor of the church. The pastor himself, alongside about two or three children also died in the incident.
