Luanda — The minister of Youth and Sports, José Marcos Barrica shall launch on Saturday in Caála district, central Huambo province, the sports encouragement programme dubbed "Criança Projecto", an initiative of Angolan Paralympics Committee (CPA), ANGOP learnt this Friday in Luanda.
The government official travels this Friday to Huambo for a social activity, as well as attends an infant-juvenile festival for disabled people, part of the programme, which will count on representatives from the country's 18th provinces.
The festival happens at António Agostinho Neto Square with competition in athletics, basketball, soccer and volleyball, among others.
Apart from developing adapted sports in the country, the project aims at warning the society that the disabled can carry out useful duties.
