The Big Economic Challenges facing Angola, is the theme of a conference that is to take place this Friday in the centre-west Benguela Province, whose lecturer will be the Angolan Premier's assistant minister, Aguinaldo Jaime.

The conference, organised by the economists speciality committee of the Ruling MPLA party, will gather politicians, economists, lawyers, journalists, entrepreneurs and other members of this political party.

According to Aguinaldo Jaime, during the event, he will layout the government's vision on the challenges faced by the Angolan economy, at short, medium and long term perspectives.

"I will fundamentally talk about the big challenge of creating a sustainable Angolan development".

Sustainable development, he explained, is based on a solid growth, caused by low unemployment rate and the improvement of economic growth.

According to the jurist, this growth should be based on a fair and equal distribution of the national income, as well as give equal opportunities to all citizens. The lecturer is to return to Luanda this Friday.
