Fatta Sackie, a 17-year-old girl came to Monrovia through the influence of her uncle to further her education, but as it stands, things have gone bad and the uncle is no more.

Through the use of voodoo, or witchcraft persuasions, Fatta reportedly killed the uncle who volunteered to help her get formal education. George Wisseh, a resident of Saye Town died Saturday morning from food the girl claimed to have spoiled in witchcraft form and he (Wisseh) ate.

Upon hearing the news, this paper dispatched its reporter to ascertain the news it had earlier gathered from sources.

According to our reporter, the Saye Town Community, behind the Monrovia City Hall, came to a standstill when Fatta Sackie openly confessed to killing her uncle, Mr. George Wisseh.

Without anyone coercing her, our reporter quoted residents who stormed the home of the late Wisseh as saying that the premature death of her guardian was her doing.

Fatta, a 2nd grade student of the Christ Russell's Foundation in Sinkor told this paper that she killed her uncle (Wisseh) upon the instruction of her grandmother, who is in the interior because she (grandmother) did not want her (Fata) to live with Wisseh.

"Every night, my grandmother will appear to me, demanding me to kill Wisseh, but I have always felt guilty to carry out her instruction:" she told this paper.

Fatta narrated that on Monday of last week, while coking in the kitchen, her grandmother appeared to her and forced to pour a brown dust in the food of Mr. Wisseh, to eliminate him, an order she executed.

According to her, she did not want to do it but that the grandmother threatened to kill her if she did not do what she was being told to do.

Wisseh, a geography instructor at the Seventh Day Adventist High School on Camp Johnson Road, and father of two boys, according to family sources had just constructed his house in Gardnersville, and had planned to move in the house on July 26.

A brother of late, George Wisseh, Jubo Dennis, told this paper that he (Wisseh) felt sick on Monday evening upon his return from job and rushed to the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital in Congo Town, where the doctor declared that he was suffering from ulcer stomach.

He said based on Doctor's advice, they brought him home, but his condition rapidly deteriorated. He later gave up his ghost on Saturday morning.

"Before his death", he said "Fatta told us that she and her grandmother had put dust into his food and that he would never survived."

Meanwhile, based on her willful confession, angry attempted mobbing her death, but was rescued by officers of the Liberia National Police.

This paper has learnt that she was taken to the Child Welfare Division of the Police to handle the matter, but authorities reportedly threw the case out on grounds that there are no legal provisions for such crimes.

Help me understand this. There is no legal provision for someone admitting to poising another person?
