The competition on 'It Takes 2', the multiple award-winning interactive quiz game show on GTV, just got keener with the launch of two new Renault Dacia Logan salon cars as prizes.

One of the cars will be given to the ultimate winners of the competition, while the second car will go to the individual, who sends in the most text messages during the surprise box, and viewers question segments for the season.

The two plush cars, which were launched on Friday July 11, this year, will be given out at the end of the season, which is currently running.

It Takes 2 is a family fun show, which has been running on GTV, every Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., for the last six years.

With ace radio presenter Kwame Sefa Kayi as host, the programme has grown from strength to strength, to become one of the most consistently entertaining quiz show on Ghanaian Television, it is therefore little wonder that the programme has won several awards, including the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana award, and awards from the Radio and Television awards scheme.

Speaking to this reporter, after the launch of the cars, Mr. Conrad Nyuur, Operations Manager for Media Edge GSM, the mobile content provider for It Takes 2, said although his company has instituted various weekly prizes, including home appliances and cash prizes on It Takes 2, and 8 other TV programmes, they collaborated with CFAO Motors to give out two cars on It Takes 2, to reward loyal of viewers for their participation, through text and voice calls.

According to Mr. Nyuur, this was the second time that Media Edge GSM, in collaboration with the producers of It Takes 2, has given out cars to winners on the programme.

He urged viewers to keep watching the programme, and participate in the Surprise Box and Viewers Questions segments, because the highest texter, from these segments, will automatically win a Dacia Logan, without a the encumbrance of a draw.

Launching the two Dacia Logan cars, Mr. Samson Oddoye, Head of Tenders and Special Projects for CFAO, said that his company came on board It Takes 2 as sponsors, because they were of the opinion that the programme reached their target audience.
