Luanda — Angolan Foreign Affairs minister, João Miranda Friday considered successful the tour that he made through Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil.
Speaking to the press at "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, the head of the Angolan diplomacy said that the goals that encouraged the visits were achieved, amongst which the signing of three cooperation protocols in Chile, and in Paraguay, a general accord of cooperation and a memorandum of understanding on consultations between the Foreign Affairs Ministries of both countries.
In Brazil, João Miranda analysed, with local authorities, matters concerning the increase of South-South relations, taking into account the complementarities of the economies of both states. Still in Brazil, he discussed with his local counterpart, Celson Amorim, issues relating to the Atlantic South Peace and Cooperation Zone and its expansion to other Latin American States lying along the same oceans.
João Miranda returned to Angola this Friday and later left for Durban city, South Africa, to attend, also this Friday, the 10th ministerial conference of the organ on politics, defence and security of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
