The Angolan ambassador to Cuba, António Condesse de Carvalho "Toka", held on 16, 17 and 18 July, a cycle of separate meetings with his counterparts of Burkina Faso, Palestine, Antigua and Barbuda, Daniel Ouedraogo, Akram Samhan and Bruce Haile Goodwin, respectively.

The agenda included the discussion about the strengthening of bilateral co-operation, reinforcement of mechanisms for measures execution in the domains of health, education and agriculture, as well as aspects linked to international situations that have been affecting mankind, mainly concerning food security.

During the meetings, ambassador Toka pointed out fighting hunger and poverty reduction as the major challenges outlined by the Angolan government, highlighting the construction of infrastructures for agriculture production and fisheries support, which are comprised in the new policies for food security, premises that will allow people to have safe and cheap food.

The Angolan diplomat expressed his satisfaction with the results of the talks, hoping that the contents will serve to stimulate more work in the improvement of the level of the respective peoples' living standards.
