The president of Burundi, Pierre Nkurunziza, Tuesday, in Bujumbura, expressed his intention to visit Angola next year, aimed at strengthening the bilateral cooperation and friendship ties.
The Burundian leader showed this wish during accreditation ceremony of Ambrósio Lukoki, as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Angola to the East African nation.
According to Pierre Nkurunziza, the cooperation in oil sector will deserve special attention, judging by the high level of daily production of crude barrels in Angola.
He praised the reconciliation amongst Angolans, as an exemplary behaviour which should be followed by all peace and social progress-loving people.
In his turn, the Angolan ambassador, Ambrósio Lukoki, briefed, during the 30-minute audience, the Burundian president on the ongoing efforts in the Southern African's country for the consolidation of peace process and national reconciliation.
To Ambrósio Lukoki, peace has created objective conditions for the kick off of the rehabilitation and construction programme of basic infrastructures, to fight poverty and promote more job opportunities.
Angola is heading toward politico-institutional normality with the holding of the country's second legislative elections, set for next September 05, whose process does not crash with the law and public order.

With residence in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Ambrósio Lukoki is the Angolan ambassador to Kenya, The Seychelles, Burundi, and will also be accredited in Uganda, soon.
