Angola's National Defence Ministry Tuesday in Luanda, accredited colonel Carl Warnberg the new non-resident defence attaché of Swedish embassy in Angola.
The ceremony that was held in the premises of the International Relations Department, at the presence of officers belonging to the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), was presided over by the institution's director, admiral André Gaspar Mendes de Carvalho "Miau".
Born on 19 September, 1956 in Ekajo city, Sweden, officer Carl Warnberg, attended the specialities of General Staff and of General Staff officer in North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
During his military career he was, among other, the commander of brigade, company of division, military observer in Middle East, General Staff officer of NATO's International Army in Brussels, Belgium, and chief of operation of general barrack Department of Swedish Armed Forces.

With residence in South Africa, colonel Warnberg speaks English, German and French.
